Maker, Seller, Treasure Hunter.

It's time to keep all my creations, finds, & frivolities, in a single, searchable place.

Today, I sold a Ryobi Battery-Powered, Self-propelled, 40v mower, w/ battery & charger, for $350.

That may not seem like much, since the price for the same thing new is $429.

However, I saved the buyer over $80 when you include tax.

Even better, I found it as part of a half-price pallet sale, since "Crazy Moose's Liquidations" was moving from a $4000/month warehouse, to a $2500/mo warehouse.

My cost for the *entire* pallet of 5 electric mowers was $350.

So, everything else is profit.

Better yet? It means everyone in this transaction wins.

This is why I love my work.

Could he have talked me down to a lower price? Maybe, because I had a security breach w/my account that drained $700 from it.

But the buyer knew he was getting a good deal.

I delivered it to him, & I wanted to make sure we could test it in his yard before he paid for it. (I can't accept returns at this stage, but I didn't want him saddled w/something that doesn't work.)

When he paid me, I warmly thanked him for buying it after my bank account was hacked. (I'm sure the bank will give me the money back, but they said it could take up to 90 days. 😬 Yikes.)

Now, I have to send out some big-deal correspondence that I've been putting off for a couple of days.

Why have I been doing that? Because I'm nervous as hell, & am afraid of rejection, lol. But if I was talking to someone else in my shoes, I'd tell her to go for it too.

Deep breath.

(I can take a deep breath!)

Let's do the thing.
