Maker, Seller, Treasure Hunter.
It's time to keep all my creations, finds, & frivolities, in a single, searchable place. Today, I sold a Ryobi Battery-Powered, Self-propelled, 40v mower, w/ battery & charger, for $350. That may not seem like much, since the price for the same thing new is $429. However, I saved the buyer over $80 when you include tax. Even better, I found it as part of a half-price pallet sale, since "Crazy Moose's Liquidations" was moving from a $4000/month warehouse, to a $2500/mo warehouse. My cost for the *entire* pallet of 5 electric mowers was $350. So, everything else is profit. Better yet? It means everyone in this transaction wins. This is why I love my work. Could he have talked me down to a lower price? Maybe, because I had a security breach w/my account that drained $700 from it. But the buyer knew he was getting a good deal. I delivered it to him, & I wanted to make sure we could test it in his yard before he paid for it. (I can't accept returns
